NO ROOM FOR GOD'S WORD

“I know that you are Abraham's descendants, but you seek to kill me, because my word has no place in you.”  John 8:37

Jesus speaks these words to Jewish leaders because they would not pay attention to the things He was teaching. The same words are true today for both the unsaved and the saved.

Many professing believers who claim Jesus as Lord do not give time for reading and studying God’s word. Reading and studying the Bible is probably the most important thing for the Christian to do.

Perhaps even a more sad truth is that many have no room in their hearts to receive the message of living the life of grace. God revealed the message to one desperate pastor whose life was immediately and drastically changed. He rejoiced to know what the message would do for his preacher friends. He soon discovered that there was not room in their hearts for this seemingly new approach to walking with the Lord.

In time, he discovered that most of the people whose hearts are open to the life of grace are in a time of much frustration. Some are frustrated because they have tried their best to be fruitful for God and have failed.

Others who are ready to receive the life of grace are experiencing some type of heart-breaking circumstance.

If you are experiencing the life of grace and have a deep desire to lead others to the same experience, you are engaged in a great and needed ministry. Just know that every Christian you know does not have room in his heart for this message. Thank God! Some do!
