Living by Grace

Dedicated to providing guidance in daily living through the power of God's grace as experienced in our union with Christ.

Led in Personal Worship

If (Since) then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.  Colossians 3:1-2

Many of God’s children believe they do not worship and praise God as they should. From the Christian’s position with Christ at the right hand of God and with our minds on the things above, we can follow the leadership of the four living creatures and the 24 elders in their worship and praise as it is recorded in Revelation 4:8 and 4:9-11. The worship and praise of the 4 living creatures is recorded first.

“Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!”

Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne … the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.”

Revelation 5:8-10 describes the worship of Jesus. The four living creatures and the 24 elders sang a new song saying:

“You … have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.”

Revelation 5:14-15 provides leadership in worship from every creature that is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them who were saying:

“Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!” Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!” and the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.

Because we, as believers, are seated with Christ in the heavenlies, we can follow this leadership in personal worship and praise right now.
